This page provides bidders with descriptions and
instructions, as well as a table, that includes HCPCS
codes included in the program, the product class,
item description, rental or purchase, item weight,
total estimated capacity, fee schedule, and bid
price. Bidders were required to enter their total
estimated capacity and their bid price into the
table.

The descriptions and instructions, in addition to
the table, have been revised to remove the
product class, item weight, and total estimated
capacity columns. The fee schedule column has
been revised to bid limit.

Furnished Items page

N/A - the entire Furnished Items page has been
removed.

This page allows bidders to enter the number of
units that their business organization furnished to
all customers, both Medicare and non-Medicare, in
competitive bidding areas during the past calendar
year.

Reason for Change
The table on the Bid Sheet page was revised to
align with the provisions outlined in the proposed
rule, which no longer require bidders to submit an
estimated capacity and steamline processes.

These fields and reports were removed to simplify
the bidding process.
