Justification for Non-Substantive Change
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) seeks approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for a Non-Substantive Change Request to OMB Control No. 0920-1367 – “Nurse Fatigue-Mitigation Education: Does it Change Nurse Sleep Behavior?” NIOSH intends to Discontinue the data collection. However, attempts to perform this action in ROCIS result in an Error Message “The OMB Control Number cannot be Discontinued because it is a Common Form.” NIOSH did not intend to have this data collection approved as a Common Form and this was done in error. This Non-Substantive Change Request is submitted to change the status of this collection and allow the subsequent submission of a Discontinuation. There is no change in burden.
