POST-TRAINING INFECTION PREVENTION AND SAFETY ASSESSMENT	45 minutes	15 clinician staff (direct patient care givers, supervisors, therapists, etc) who have completed the training and 5 other hospital staff (administrators, risk managers) who will not be receiving the training at the 34 hospitals; and 1 infection control manager at the 102 control group hospitals	As above along with:
			Documenting increased awareness and change in preventive practices
			Identification of specific actions to be taken to trainee’s ability to implement
			Empowerment to act as a “watchdog” for infection prevention and patient safety
INFECTION PREVENTION AND PATIENT SAFETY ACTIVITIES CATALOGUE	60 minutes	1 patient safety/quality assurance officer responsible for patient safety activities at the 34 hospitals and 1 infection control manager at the 102 control group hospitals	Training and education
			Facility improvements that have contributed to improved patient safety
			Ongoing and routine surveillance, monitoring and evaluation of improvements in HAI
