from the United States
Census Bureau. Here is my identification card
(show ID card). We are conducting the American
Community Survey to collect current population
and housing information. I have some questions
to ask you.

The Census Bureau is conducting this survey
to collect current population and housing
information. I am required by law to tell you that
this survey is authorized by Title 13, sections 141,
193, and 221 of the United States Code. The
average interview takes 30 minutes. This survey
is mandatory and your cooperation is very
