US Code:

USC 1766 Name of Law: National School Lunch Act
PL: Pub.L. 105 - 336 107(h) Name of Law:
Child Nutrition Reauthorization Act of 1998
Program Change Due to New
Statute The increase of 37,746 hours to the currently approved
burden of 5,865,249 hours is due to new statutory requirement
prescribed in Public Law 105-336. These new requirements are being
codified under 7 CFR Part 226, Child and Adult Care Food Program
(CACFP), Afterschool Snacks in the CACFP. Total burden hours
requested for this ICR is 5,902,995. Program Change Due to Agency
Discretion Annual Number of Responses: The previous submission
identified the recordkeeping burden as separate ICs. We have
corrected this error by combining the reporting and recordkeeping
requirement under the appropriate IC. The reduction 195,756
responses are due to this action. Burden: The decrease in burden by
123,305 hours is due to the action stated above. Reporting and
recordkeeping ICs were combine under the appropriate affected
public category. These specific recordkeeping ICs were removed from
this ICR. Change Due to Adjustments in Agency Estimates Because the
recordkeeping hours were combine in their specific IC, the -123,305
reported when these ICs were removed, have now been accounted for
under their appropriate affected public category.
